FINALLY...Someone is Making More Sense!
OVERDIAGNOSIS...More Common Than You'd Think...
While this is directed toward thyroid cancer specifically, this is often the approach that most natural practitioners take when working with cancer patients. With everything I have read, I personally believe that most cases have time to work through options for natural healing before undergoing the dangerous conventional methods. Thyroid cancer is not the only slow growing cancer out there. And by providing patients the opportunity and time to explore their own unqiue body and healing, we embark on great new adventures in medicine the way it was intended and practiced for centuries.
Hopefully the benefits of holding off the rush of treatments with other cancers will soon develop...

Meat. It's Still What's For Dinner (For Some)
If you are currently healing from cancer (especially tumorous), or have just recently healed, animal proteins should still be kept at bay as much as possible. While many continue on a vegetarian/vegan lifestyle after cancer, many will want to reintroduce meat back into their diet...or perhaps it never fully left.
Whether cancer is part of your health history or not, if you're going to eat meat, it's essential to eat the right kind from the right sources! In fact, I am starting to think that finding the right meat farmer might even be more critical than organic fruits and veggies (but PLEASE don't think that this lessens that essential element).
For animals, there's a two-daggar issue (aside from ethical or moral issues for some). First being the antibiotic and hormone injections. We started to question these antics in the previous decade (those more savvy were aware much earlier). Second, more recently we have really started to look into what the animals are ingesting and how they are living and being treated before headed to their doom of our dinner plates. The combination of these practices in addition to the natural fats that are loaded up even into the most lean of meats (which are only good for us in small amounts) can contribute to catastrophic outcomes in one's health!
But there's good news! Happy to see that Applegate Organics is still working hard to ensure the best possible meat products for you and your family, despite having been purchased by Hormel. So for now check out the full scoop, look for them in your market and enjoy!
